General operation

The intro screen

The intro screen is the first screen you see after starting up the Tacx Trainer software. It provides

quick access to all the software’s features.

Function buttons

The buttons at the top of the task bar. These buttons can only be operated through the keyboard and

the mouse. The following functions can be found here:

 Training: Creating and modifying training programs.

 Import/Export: Import and export of training programs, GPS files and scores.

 Extra: Analyse your training sessions in Analyser. Here you can also simulate Tacx films.

 Settings: Adjust the settings of the Tacx Trainer software.

 Help: Need help? This menu helps you on the way again.

Tacx Trainer software General operation Training The big buttons on the left side of the screen. Here you can select different types of training. You can choose from the following training types: Catalyst Professional training programs with incline (slope), power (Watt), heart rate and tests for scientific analysis. Tacx Films Films for VR trainers. You can choose from dozens of HD films of legendary stages and cycling classics. These are sold separately.
