Selecting a Zone
Theradiomaybeprogrammedtousezones,whicharecollectionsofchannelsandgroups.Whenazoneisselected,
onlythechannelsandgroupsassignedtothatzoneareavailable.
Using the Main menu:
1.PressMenuandselect Zones.
Dependingonhowtheradioisprogrammed,scrollkeysorleftselectionkeysmaybeusedtoselect
theZonesmenu.
2.IntheZonesmenu,scrollthroughthelistofzonesuntilthedesiredoneappears.
3.PressSelect,andthezoneindicationappearseitherbelowthechannelinformation,besidethe
RSSIicon,orinbothpositions.Thesecanalsobesettonotbedisplayed.
Other ways of selecting a zone
Thefollowingcontrolsmayalsobeusedtoselectazone:
•3-wayselector(seeAbouttheRadioControls)
Ifthe3-wayselectoristurnedwhilepressingthePTTkey,thezonewillchangeafterthePTTkeyis
released.
