Selecting a Scan or Voting Group
Ascanorvotinggroupisacollectionofchannelsthataregroupedtogetherforeitherscanningorvoting.IntheChan-
nelsmenu,thescanorvotinggroupisshownasbeingasinglechannelitem,e.g.“Scan1”.
ThesectionsUsingtheRadioinDifferentRepeaterAreasandScanningaGroupofChannelsexplainhowtheradio
operatesonceascanorvotinggrouphasbeenselected.
Using the Main menu
1.PressMenuandselectChannels.
Dependingonhowtheradioisprogrammed,afunctionkey,thescrollkeysorleftselectionkeymay
beusedtoselectagroup.
2.IntheChannelsmenu,scrollthroughthelistofchannelsandgroupsuntilthedesiredgroupappears.
3.PressSelect,andtheprogrammedscanorvotinggroupisnowshownonthedisplay.Thescanningicon
appearsonthedisplay.
