savedandisavailableforeditinglater.
Sending a text message
1.Whenamessagehasbeenchosenorentered,pressOptionsandtheText optionsmenuopens.
2.IntheText optionsmenu,scrollthroughthelistofoptionsuntilthedesiredoneappears.
3.SelectSendandpressSelect.
4.Ifanaddressbookisconfigured,it'spossibletoeitherdialanumberorshowtheaddressbook.Other-
wiseapresetlistofradioswillappear.
Thecalldetailsappearonthedisplay.
Receiving a text message
Iftheradioisprogrammedforcallqueuing,incomingtextmessagesareaddedtothequeue.Formoreinformation,
seeCheckingtheQueue.
PressOptionsandselectwhethertoreply,callordelete.
Theradiomaybeprogrammedtoautomaticallyviewtextmessagesonreceipt.
Iftheradioisnotprogrammedforcallqueuing,incomingtextmessageswillnotbestoredordisplayed.
Checking the Queue
Ifanincomingcallorcallalerthasbeenmissed,orifastatusmessageortextmessagehasbeenreceived,itmaybe
storedinthequeue.Thequeueicon appearsandinformationaboutthemissedcallormessagemaybeshownon
thedisplay.
Thequeuecanbeprogrammedtostoremultiplecallsormessagesorjustthelastcallormessage.
PressOptionstoeitherview,reply,callback,lookattheentrydetails,ordeletetheentry.
Theradiomaybealsoprogrammedtoautomaticallyviewthefullstatusupdateortextmessageonreceipt.
Iftherearecallsormessagesinthequeue,theradiomayemitawarbletoneforaperiodoftime.Thenotification
startsagainwhentheradioisrestartedoranothercallisreceived.
Accessing the queue
1.Ifthecallormessageinformationisnotshownalready,pressMenu>Call queue.
