Receiving a text message
Iftheradioisprogrammedforcallqueuing,incomingtextmessagesareaddedtothequeue.Formoreinformation,
seeCheckingtheQueue.
PressOptionsandselectwhethertoreply,callordelete.
Theradiomaybeprogrammedtoautomaticallyviewtextmessagesonreceipt.
Iftheradioisnotprogrammedforcallqueuing,incomingtextmessageswillnotbestoredordisplayed.
Placing the Radio in Do-Not-Disturb Mode
Ifauserdoesn'twanttoacceptcallsforawhile,theycanplacetheradioin'do-not-disturbmode',sothatincoming
callscanbeignored.Userscanstillmakeoutgoingcallsintheusualway.
Whiledo-not-disturbmodeisactive,incomingcallscannotbestoredinthecallqueue.
Using a function key
1.Pressthefunctionkeyprogrammedfordonotdisturb,toactivatethedo-not-disturbfunction.
ThemessageDo not disturb activatedappearsonthedisplay.Theradiowillnowignoreallincomingcalls.
2.Todeactivatethedo-not-disturbfunction,pressthedo-not-disturbfunctionkeyagain.
ThemessageDo not disturb deactivatedappearsonthedisplay.
Using the Main menu
1.PressMenuandselect Radio Settings > Call Settings > Do not disturb.
2.IntheDo not disturbmenu,chooseOn.
3.PressSelect.
ThemessageDo not disturb activatedappearsonthedisplay.Theradiowillnowignoreallincomingcalls.
Switching to Conventional Channels or Conventional Groups
Youmaybeabletodialconventionalchannelsorgroups,using101 to110.Thechannelsorgroupscalledusingthese
numbersareprogrammedforyourradio.
