2. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE VOR BENUTZUNG DES TAKATA MINI 1. 2. 3. 6 ACHTUNG! Der TAKATA MINI ist eine „Universal“-Rückhalteeinrichtung für Kinder. Sie ist nach ECERegelung 44, Änderungsserie 04 genehmigt für die allgemeine Verwendung in Fahrzeugen und passt in die meisten, aber nicht in alle Fahrzeugsitze.
HINWEIS! Die Befestigung des TAKATA MINI im Fahrzeug mit der TAKATA ISOFIX BASE zur Verbindung mit den fahrzeugseitigen ISOFIX-Verankerungen entspricht den Bedingungen der „Semi-Universal“-Zulassung. Eine derartige Befestigung ist nur auf bestimmten Sitzen einzelner Fahrzeuge geeignet. Sie finden in der beiliegenden Fahrzeugliste eine Übersicht der Fahrzeuge und Fahrzeugsitze, die zum Zeitpunkt der Produktion für diese Befestigung geeignet sind. ACHTUNG! Der TAKATA MINI darf rückwärts gerichtet nicht auf einem Beifahrersitz mit aktiviertem Beifahrer-Airbag verwendet werden. Wenn der Beifahrer-Airbag deaktiviert ist und der Fahrzeughersteller den Beifahrersitz als geeignet für die Autokindersitzklasse kennzeichnet, dann können Sie den TAKATA MINI auf dem Beifahrersitz verwenden.

Sie die Sicherheit Ihres Kindes bei einem Unfall. [MINI_013] Der TAKATA MINI erhitzt sich unter starker Sonneneinwirkung. Um zu vermeiden, dass sich ein Kind an aufgeheizten Teilen verbrennen kann, sollte ein Erwachsener die Kunststoff- und Metallteile des TAKATA MINI vor dem Gebrauch auf Hitze überprüfen. [MINI_014] Installieren Sie den Autokindersitz TAKATA MINI so, dass die stabilen Teile (Kunststoffteile usw.) nicht in den Fahrzeugtüren eingeklemmt werden können.
TAKATA MINI entwickelt. HINWEIS! Lassen Sie Ihr Kind nicht zu lange im TAKATA MINI sitzen. Wir empfehlen einen Zeitraum von jeweils maximal 1 bis 2 Stunden. Der TAKATA MINI ist für eine maximale Nutzungsdauer von ca. 3 Jahren nach dem Kauf ausgelegt.
TAKATA MINI kann in drei verschiedene Positionen eingestellt werden: A. B. C. Trageposition Autoposition Position zum Hineinlegen und Herausnehmen Ihres Kindes Schritt 1 – Entriegeln des Tragebügels [MINI_018] Zum Ändern der Tragebügel-Position am Autokindersitz TAKATA MINI drücken Sie gleichzeitig die beiden seitlich am Tragebügel befindlichen grauen Verstellhebel bis zum Anschlag, damit der Tragebügel vollständig entriegelt ist. wünschten Position wieder los.
[MINI_019_a] Sie können den TAKATA MINI tragen, indem Sie den Tragebügel von oben mit einer Hand zentral greifen und mit leicht gebeugtem Arm seitlich am Körper halten. Winkeln Sie dazu Ihren Arm so weit an, dass Sie den Tragebügel in die Armbeuge des angewinkelten Armes einhängen können.

Schritt 1 – Entriegeln des verstellbaren Innenkissens [MINI_021] Öffnen Sie das Fach für das Bedienungshandbuch auf der Rückseite des Autokindersitzes TAKATA MINI.
TAKATA MINI ist mit einem zentralen Gurtlösehebel ausgestattet, der zum Lösen der Gurte verwendet wird. Schritt 1 – Lösen der Gurt-Klemmung [MINI_023] Um die Gurte zu lösen, ziehen Sie den Gurtlösehebel nach oben und halten Sie diesen in Position. Sonnendach befestigen Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist ein Sonnendach, das Sie am Autokindersitz TAKATA MINI befestigen und je nach Bedarf zusammenschieben oder ausziehen können.

Schritt 3 – Positionierung im Auto [MINI_029] Achten Sie darauf, dass der vordere Teil des TAKATA MINI die Rückenlehne des Fahrzeugsitzes berührt und dass sich der ganze TAKATA MINI im korrekten Winkel befindet.

Schritt 8 – Spannen des Fahrzeug-Schultergurtes [MINI_035] Spannen Sie den Fahrzeug-Sicherheitsgurt, indem Sie den Fahrzeug-Schultergurt zum oberen Befestigungspunkt im Auto ziehen. MINI ein wenig (mit geringer Handkraft), um zu prüfen, ob der TAKATA MINI in seiner Position bleibt. Schritt 9 – Kontrolle der Positionierung Achten Sie darauf, dass die rote Linie auf dem seitlichen Montagesticker des TAKATA MINI weiterhin senkrecht verläuft.
HINWEIS! Optional kann der TAKATA MINI auch mit der ISOFIX-Basis TAKATA ISOFIX BASE im Fahrzeug befestigt werden, sofern Ihr Fahrzeug mit ISOFIXVerankerungen ausgestattet ist. Danach müssen Sie den 2-Punkt-Sicherheitsgurt fest verschließen und spannen, bis die Gurtbänder straff am TAKATA MINI anliegen.
Montagesticker des TAKATA MINI weiterhin senkrecht verläuft. Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, korrigieren Sie bitte die Position des TAKATA MINI noch einmal. WARNUNG! Benutzen Sie keine anderen Krafteinleitungspunkte als die in diesem Bedienungshandbuch beschriebenen und auf dem Autokindersitz TAKATA MINI markierten (blaue Gurtführungen und Tragebügel in Autoposition).
7. PFLEGE UND AUFBEWAHRUNG Abnehmen aller Bezüge Schritt 1 – Demontage der Schultergurte [MINI_038] Zum Abnehmen der Bezüge haken Sie zunächst die Schultergurte aus dem Gurtverbindungsteil des zentralen Zuggurts auf der Unterseite des TAKATA MINI aus. [MINI_039] Dann ziehen Sie beide Schultergurte vollständig aus dem verstellbaren Innenkissen und den beiden Schulterpolstern. HINWEIS! Sie können die Schultergurte nicht aus dem Innenkissen ziehen, indem Sie nur an den beiden Schulterpolstern ziehen.
[MINI_042] Legen Sie dazu das Innenkissen mit der Vorderseite auf eine ebene Fläche. Anschließend können Sie in die Bezugsöffnung auf der Rückseite greifen und die AIRPADS, die sich in den seitlichen Flügeln des Innenkissens befinden, wie im nebenstehenden Bild gezeigt, auf beiden Seiten herausziehen. Schritt 5 – Abnehmen des Bezuges [MINI_043] Nach dem Abnehmen des Innenkissens bringen Sie die Rücken-Platte wieder in die unterste Position.
HINWEIS! Beachten Sie immer die Pflegeanleitungen auf den Bezugsetiketten, um zu erfahren, ob diese in der Maschine gewaschen werden können oder nur für Handwäschen geeignet sind. Ausschlaggebend sind immer die Pflegeanleitungen auf den einzelnen Bezugsetiketten. WARNUNG! Die in das verstellbare Innenkissen eingelegten AIRPADS sind nicht waschbar und müssen vor dem Waschen aus dem verstellbaren Innenkissen entfernt werden.

Before using the seat for the first time Before you first use the TAKATA MINI child car seat, please ensure you are in possession of each of the following items: A. B. C. TAKATA MINI, Instructions, Sunshade. If any item is missing or damaged, do not use the seat. Contact your retailer or TAKATA customer services (see Section 9 – Service). To ensure a swift response, please provide the certification number shown on the certification sticker (on the bottom) of your TAKATA MINI.

CAUTION! Please note that ECE R44/04 certification ceases to apply if any changes are made to the TAKATA MINI without approval from TAKATA AG. The certification sticker, featuring a symbol (the letter E in a circle) and certification number, is found on the bottom of the TAKATA MINI (ECE). CLASS 0+ WEIGHT 2.0 - 13 kg AGE approx. 0 - 15 months NOTE! The ages stated here are intended as a guide only.

The TAKATA MINI child seat may not be distributed or used for commercial purposes in the USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britain or France. CAUTION! The TAKATA MINI has been approved for use as a baby car seat. It is not suitable however, for use as a baby rocker or reclined cradle (in line with EN 12790).
Child seat direction P Against the direction of travel O With the direction of travel area of your child is protected. If the lap belt runs WARNING NOTES: [MINI_044] Check that the top of your child’s head is lower than the top edge of the headrest. If the headrest is too low, there is a greater risk of injury in the case of an accident. As soon as the top of your childʼs head reaches or exceeds the top edge of the seat, you should switch to the TAKATA MIDI child car seat with the TAKATA ISOFIX BASE.
childʼs safety is at risk in the event of an accident. [MINI_009] Secure your TAKATA MINI in place whenever it is in the vehicle, regardless of whether a child is using it. This prevents the seat from flying forwards in the event of an accident or when braking sharply. [MINI_010] Take care not to damage the vehicleʼs seatbelts, or the straps of the TAKATA MINI, with knives or other sharp objects. The TAKATA MINI cannot properly protect children from injury if the straps have been cut or in some way damaged.
Always secure your child with the TAKATA MINI straps, even if you are not using the seat in the car (e.g. when carrying your child around in it, or putting the seat down somewhere). Never leave your child in the TAKATA MINI (whether attended or not) on a raised, slanted or uneven surface, such as a table, a baby-changing table, steps or a ramp. [MINI_016] Only use the TAKATA MINI with original covers, AIRPADS and side crash pads.
CAUTION! Be careful that your fingers and other body parts do not get caught in any moving sections of the seat. Adjusting the carry handle position [MINI_017] The carry handle of the TAKATA MINI can be set in three different positions: A. B. C.
[MINI_019_a] You can hold it with your hand in the middle of the carry handle, keeping your arm slightly bent and the TAKATA MINI by your side. MINI should be adjusted to the size of your child, so as to provide maximum comfort and maximum protection in the case of an accident. [MINI_019_b] Alternatively, you can carry it in the crook of your arm. Bend your arm sufficiently so that the carry handle rests on the inside of your elbow and stays in place.
Step 1 – Unlock the adjustable inner padding [MINI_021] Open the compartment for the manual on the back of the TAKATA MINI. [MINI_022] Fully depress the slider to adjust the inner padding. Step 2 – Adjust and fasten the inner padding Keep the slider pressed down, and at the same time, slide the inner padding up or down, to adjust this and the shoulder straps to the size of your child. Then release the slider again. The slider is locked in place when it clicks into the slots on either side.
The two tongues are held together magnetically, and can be easily separated by pulling them apart. Securing the sunshade The TAKATA MINI is supplied with a sunshade that you can attach to the seat and extend or retract as necessary. Step 1 – Attaching the sunshade [MINI_025] Attach the four push buttons on the side of the sunshade to the four buttons on the side of the TAKATA MINI cover (two on each side).
Step 1 – Adjust and fasten the inner padding and straps Before sitting your child in the TAKATA MINI, loosen and open the straps, as described in Section 3 – Basic instructions (Loosening the straps and opening the buckle), and move them out of the way. Once your child is in the seat, place the shoulder straps over the shoulders and the lap belt over your childʼs lap, taking care not to twist or tangle the straps.
Ensure that the cushion behind the buckle has not slipped out of place, so that it no longer protects your child against the buckleʼs plastic components. Step 4 – Tighten the straps [MINI_027] To tighten the straps, pull the end of central pull strap forwards (not up or down). CAUTION! You can ensure that the belt tension is correct if only one finger fits beneath the shoulder straps of the TAKATA MIDI after tightening them.
• The buckle and tongues are correctly secured. • The straps fit snugly around your child and are not twisted. • Your childʼs head is fully covered by the side bolsters of the TAKATA MINI, all the way to the top. • The AIRPADS are positioned correctly in the inner pockets of the adjustable inner padding. Removing your child Before you can lift your child out of the TAKATA MINI, you must loosen the straps and open the buckle.
Depending on the vehicle, you may be able to deactivate the airbag yourself, or may need to contact your local dealer/garage for assistance. Step 3 – Check the seatʼs position in the vehicle [MINI_029] Ensure that the front section of the TAKATA MINI touches the backrest of the vehicle seat, and that the TAKATA MINI is set at the right angle. You can check this via the sticker affixed to the side: if the red line is pointing straight up, the TAKATA MINI is correctly positioned.
CAUTION! Whenever you change the position of the carry handle, always check that it is locked into place. To do this, lightly push the handle back and forwards with your hand, without pressing down on the levers. Step 6 – Fasten the vehicle shoulder belt [MINI_033] Bring the vehicleʼs shoulder belt around to the back of the TAKATA MINI. Position it as shown in the illustration. CAUTION! On the side with the seatbelt buckle, the shoulder belt must run beneath the shoulder belt guide of the TAKATA MINI.
Step 10 – Check everything is secure [MINI_036] Lightly shake the TAKATA MINI with your hands to check that it stays in place. Checklist – use in the vehicle: Please ensure that: • The TAKATA MINI is placed in a backwards-facing position. • The airbag on the front passenger seat is deactivated, if the TAKATA MINI is to be used there. • The TAKATA MINI is secured via an approved three-point seatbelt (ECE-R16 or comparable standard). • The vehicle seatbelt is firmly fastened.
The TAKATA MINI has been authorized solely for forwards-facing passenger seats, without airbags, that have been approved by the airline for use with a child car seat. CAUTION! In aircraft, the TAKATA MINI must be positioned on the passenger seat against the direction of travel, using a two-point safety belt (as described in these instructions).

You can check this via the sticker affixed to the side: if the red line is pointing straight up, the TAKATA MINI is correctly positioned. You may think that a slightly less upright position would be more comfortable, however, this 90-degree angle has been proven to provide optimum safety.
Step 6 – Check the positioning Ensure that the red line on the sticker affixed to the side of the TAKATA MINI remains in a vertical position. If this is not the case, adjust the TAKATA MINI again. WARNING! Do not use any other force transmission points than those specified in this manual and indicated on the TAKATA MINI (blue belt guides and carry handle in the vehicle position).
7. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Removing the covers Step 1 – Remove the shoulder straps [MINI_038] To remove the covers, you must first unhook the shoulder straps from the belt connection section of the pull strap, on the bottom of the TAKATA MINI. [MINI_039] Then pull the shoulder straps entirely out of the inner padding and shoulder pads. NOTE! You cannot pull the shoulder straps out of the inner padding by only pulling at the shoulder pads.

Étape 6 – Contrôle de la position Veillez à ce que le trait rouge de lʼautocollant situé sur le côté de TAKATA MINI soit toujours placé verticalement. Si ce nʼest pas le cas, corrigez à nouveau la position du TAKATA MINI. DANGER! Nʼutilisez pas dʼautre points porteurs de charge que ceux qui sont indiqués dans le présent manuel de lʼutilisateur et marqués sur le siège auto TAKATA MINI (guides bleus de passage des sangles et anse de transport en position auto).
7. ENTRETIEN ET STOCKAGE Retrait des housses Étape 1 – Démontage des bretelles [MINI_038] Pour retirer les housses, décrochez tout dʼabord les bretelles de lʼélément de liaison avec la sangle de tension centrale au-dessous du TAKATA MINI. [MINI_039] Tirez ensuite sur les deux bretelles pour les sortir entièrement du coussin réducteur dʼassise et des fourreaux de protection des épaules. et placez les deux sangles sur les côtés.

Punto 1 – Regolazione e blocco del cuscinetto interno e delle cinture Prima di sistemare il bambino nel seggiolino TAKATA MINI, aprire e liberare le cinture come descritto nel capitolo 3 - Istruzioni base (Come liberare le cinture e aprire il blocco cinture) e spostarle di lato. Una volta posizionato il bambino nel seggiolino, fare passare le cinture diagonali sulle spalle e le cinture subaddominali sul grembo del bambino, facendo attenzione a non attorcigliare o impigliare le cinture.
Punto 3 – Regolazione delle cinture subaddominali PERICOLO! Abbassare opportunamente le cinture subaddominali per assicurare la migliore protezione del bambino. Se le cinture passano sull’addome, sussiste il rischio di lesioni interne in caso di incidente. Assicurarsi che lʼimbottitura sul retro del blocco cinture non si sia spostata e che il bambino sia quindi protetto dal contatto con gli elementi in plastica del blocco.
Lista di controllo – Fissaggio del bambino: Rimozione del bambino Assicurarsi che... Prima di togliere il bambino da TAKATA PINI, è necessario aprire il blocco delle cinture e liberare le cinture. AVVERTENZA! Anche a bordo di un aereo TAKATA MINI va posizionato e fissato rivolto in senso contrario alla direzione di volo, su un sedile per passeggeri dotato di cintura di sicurezza a 2 punti, così come descritto nel presente manuale.

7. CURA E MANUTENZIONE Rimozione delle fodere Punto 1 – Smontare le cinture diagonali [MINI_038] Per poter rimuovere le fodere, è necessario prima sganciare le cinture diagonali dallʼelemento di collegamento del tirante centrale, nella parte inferiore di TAKATA MINI. [MINI_039] Tirare quindi entrambe le cinture diagonali completamente fuori dal cuscinetto e dalle imbottiture. IMPORTANTE! Non è possibile estrarre le cinture diagonali dal cuscinetto soltanto tirando le imbottiture.
Punto 5 – Rimozione della fodera [MINI_043] Dopo aver rimosso il cuscinetto interno, riportare la piastra dello schienale nella posizione più bassa. Liberare entrambi i ganci in plastica laterali della fodera dal guscio e aprire gli elementi di plastica dal bordo della fodera. A questo punto è possibile rimuovere lʼintera fodera dal guscio. Riposizionamento della fodera Per rimettere correttamente tutte le fodere di TAKATA MINI al loro posto, seguire a ritroso le istruzioni per la loro rimozione.

Stap 2 – Verstellen en vergrendelen van het binnenkussen Houd de stelschuif ingedrukt terwijl u het binnenkussen omhoog of omlaag schuift, om de positie van het binnenkussen en de schoudergordel aan de grootte van het kind aan te passen. Laat de stelschuif voor het binnenkussen weer los. De stelschuif is op zijn positie vergrendeld wanneer het glijmechanisme in de rasterlijst klikt. LET OP! Controleer bij elke verstelling of de stelschuif zoals bescheven vergrendeld is.

4. ZEKEREN VAN UW KIND OPMERKING! Voor de veiligheid van uw kind kunt u uw kind het beste aan de trottoirzijde dan wel de kant van de weg laten in- en uitstappen. 5. GEBRUIK IN EEN VOERTUIG Stap 1 – Voorbereiding [MINI_028] Voor installatie van het autokinderzitje TAKATA MINI in een voertuig moet de draagbeugel omhoog staan in de draagstand. Stap 2 – Plaatsing in het voertuig [MINI_029] Zet de TAKATA MINI op de autostoel. LET OP! De TAKATA MINI moet in achterwaartse richting op de stoel worden geplaatst. WAARSCHUWING! [Airbag-waarschuwing] Installeer de TAKATA MINI NOOIT in achterwaartse richting op een voorstoel met geactiveerde airbag.
Stap 4 – Omdoen van de heupgordel van het voertuig Voor een juiste bevestiging van het autokinderzitje TAKATA MINI op de autostoel is een geschikte driepuntsgordel vereist (goedgekeurd volgens ECE-R 16 of vergelijkbare norm). [MINI_030] Trek de heupgordel van de auto door de blauwe heupgordelgeleiders aan de zijden van de TAKATA MINI. LET OP! Stap 5 – Instellen van de draagbeugel Druk beide grijze verstelhendels voor de draagbeugel tot de aanslag aan en breng de draagbeugel dan naar voren in de autostand (middelste stand). LET OP! Controleer telkens wanneer u de draagbeugel verstelt of de stand goed is vergrendeld. Beweeg de draagbeugel daartoe licht (met geringe handdruk) naar voren en achteren, zonder daarbij op de verstelhendel te drukken.
