BEFORE USE
Please read the following before operating the unit:
- Choose the installation location of your unit carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight
or close to a source of heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust,
heat,
cold or moisture.
- The ventilation holes should not be covered. Make sure there is enough space above and
beside the amplifier/receiver (about 4 inches). Do not place a CD player or other
equip
ment on top of the amplifier/receiver.
- Do not open the casing as this might result in a short circuit or electrical shock. If a
foreign object gets into the set, please contact your dealer.
- When removing the power plug, please pull the plug itself, not the cord.
- Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

This unit will become warm when used for a long period of time. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem with the unit. This CD player includes micro-processors which may
malfunction as a result of external electrical interference or noise. If the CD player is not
working properly, disconnect the power source and then reconnect it.
