Option menus
Using the option menus, specific settings can be made during playback without opening the Settings menu. Option menus appear on
the left side of the monitor.
The available options depend on the type of media currently used.
Refer to the appropriate section according to the media type: BDMV options for Blu-ray discs, DVD Video options for DVDs, Video options
for video files, Audio CD options for audio CDs, Audio File options for audio files and Image File options for image files.
To show and hide option menus, press the remote control OPTION button during playback.
Basic option menu operations
p To move in a menu, use the
j
/
k
cursor buttons. The current item is shown in a blue frame.
p If an arrow (▶) appears to the right of a menu item, press the ENTER or
;
cursor button to open a submenu that contains additional
options.
p In a submenu, if up/down arrows (▲▼) appear, the
j
/
k
cursor buttons can be used to select the previous or next option. Press the
ENTER or
l
cursor button to confirm a selection and close the submenu.
p If no arrow appears to the right of an item, press the ENTER button to execute that function.
General Settings
BDMV options
Option menu name Options Explanation
Title
The playing title can be changed.
The number on the left is the currently playing title. The number on
the right is the total number of titles.
Chapter
The playing chapter can be changed.
The number on the left is the currently playing chapter. The
number on the right is the total number of chapters.
Time
Hours: minutes: seconds
The elapsed time of the title or chapter.
The time shown can be switched from
title elapsed time (TT) to title
remaining time (-TT), chapter elapsed time (CH) or chapter remaining
time (-CH).
00: 00: 00
Audio (Depends on disc)
Audio settings can be changed.
The audio settings that can be used depend on which are
supported by the video. For example, DTS-HD MA (master audio) or
Dolby Digital can be selected in various languages for Blu-ray discs.
Angle
The camera angle can be changed.
The number on the left is the current angle. The number on the
right is the total number of available angles. This function can only
be used with discs that have data for multiple angles.
Subtitles (Depends on disc)
Subtitle display can be changed.
The settings that can be used depend on the subtitle languages
supported by the video.
Subtitle style (Depends on disc)
The display style of subtitles can be changed.
The settings that can be used depend on the subtitle languages
supported by the video.
