Setting bookmarks
This unit can be used to set bookmarks to remember specific
places on video discs. The internal memory can store a
maximum of 12 bookmarks.
p To create a bookmark, press the MARK button at the desired
place during video playback.
p The bookmark number, current title, chapter and time are
shown on the monitor.
Jumping to bookmarks
1. Press and hold the MARK button for 6 seconds.
Playback will pause, and available bookmarks will be shown
on the monitor.
2. Use the

cursor buttons to move between bookmarks.
When a bookmark is selected, its number and the current
title, chapter and time are shown on the monitor.
Available bookmarks appear white, while unused
bookmarks appear gray.
3. Press the ENTER button to jump to the target bookmark.
Playback from that bookmark is possible.
To cancel this operation and return to normal playback,
press the MARK button.
ATTENTION
Bookmarks will be cleared in the following cases.

When the Home Screen is opened

When a disc is ejected
i
When the unit is turned off (put in standby)
Deleting bookmarks
1. Press and hold the MARK button for 6 seconds.
Playback will pause, and available bookmarks will be shown
on the monitor.
2. To delete the last created bookmark, press the CLEAR
button.
3. Press the MARK button to close the bookmarks and return
to normal playback.
Viewing photos
When a photo is shown, the cursor buttons can be used to
rotate and flip the image.
Rotate left:

Adjusting the volume from the unit
Use the +/− (VOL) button to adjust the volume during playback.
If the playback sound still cannot be heard after raising the
volume some, adjust the volume on the monitor, TV, amplifier or
other sound output equipment.
NOTE
If the remote control +/− (VOL) button does not function, on
the Home Screen, select Settings > Audio Settings > Audio
Output > Volume Control and set it to Enable.
This changes the volume for all analog, digital (COAXIAL) and
HDMI.
Muting from the unit
Sounds playing from the unit can be muted by pressing the
MUTE button.
When muted, the icon appears on the monitor.
Press the MUTE button again to stop muting. The icon
appears on the monitor. (This icon will disappear from the
monitor after a little while.)
This mutes all analog, digital (COAXIAL) and HDMI outputs.
