3 – Preparations
Turning the power ON and OFF
Press the POWER switch on the rear panel to turn the power ON.
Startup screen
Home Screen
The unit starts and the startup screen appears.
If no media has been loaded in the current device, the screen
shows
NO MEDIA
.
If media has been loaded in the current device, the screen
shows
MEDIA READING
while the unit reads the media. When this
process is complete, the Home Screen is displayed.
Turning the power OFF
Press the POWER switch to turn the power OFF. No special
shutdown procedures are necessary.
CAUTION
Do not turn the power OFF when the unit is in use (recording,
playing back, writing data to a CF card, etc.). Doing so could
cause data transfers to fail, corruption of data, sudden loud
noise to be emitted from monitoring equipment, damage to
equipment and harm to hearing.
Setting the date and time
The internal clock is used to add the date and time to files ripped
to CF cards.
1. Press the MENU button to open the
MENU
screen.
2. The
SYSTEM
menu screen appears.
3. Select
CLOCK ADJUST
.
4. Press the DATA dial to open the
CLOCK ADJUST
screen.
5. Follow these procedures to change the date and time.
Press the
•
DATA dial to cycle through the year, month
and date and select the item to set.
Turn the
•
DATA dial to change the selected item.
6. After completing the setting, press the DATA dial to
confirm the set date and time and return to the
SYSTEM
menu screen.
7. Press the HOME button to return to the Home Screen.
