8 – Other settings and information display
Restoring the factory settings
You can restore all the settings that are stored in the unit’s
backup memory to the values when shipped from the factory.
Follow these steps to restore the settings.
NOTE
The factory settings cannot be restored if media is loaded in the
current device. Change the current or remove the media from it
and conduct the operation again.
1. Press the MENU button to open the
MENU
screen.
2. Open the
SYSTEM
menu.
3. Select
FACTORY PRESET
.
4. Press the DATA dial to open a confirmation pop-up
message.
5. Press the DATA dial again to restore all settings to their
factory defaults.
COMPLETE
appears as a pop-up message
when done and the Home Screen automatically reopens.
Viewing media information
You can view information about the media in the current device.
Follow these steps to access this information.
1. Press the CD/CF button to select the device containing
the media you want to check.
The indicator above the CD/CF button lights.
2. Press the MENU button to open the
MENU
screen.
3. Open the
INFORMATION
menu screen.
4. Select
MEDIA INFO
.
5. Press the DATA dial to show information about the
media in the current device, including its used space and
amount of free space.

6. When you are finished checking, press the HOME button
to return to the Home Screen.
Viewing system information
You can view information about the system. Follow these steps
to access this information.
1. Press the MENU button to open the
MENU
screen.
2. Open the
INFORMATION
menu screen.
3. Select
SYSTEM INFO
.
4. Press the DATA dial to show the
SYSTEM INFORMATION
screen, where you can check system versions and
operating time.
5. When you are finished checking, press the HOME button
to return to the Home Screen.
