(See “Undoing an operation” on page 39.) Basic editing procedures 1.
8 - Track Editing ªª IN/OUT/TO COPY/INSERT To change the IN/OUT/TO points, exit the TRACK EDIT screen, and set them again as necessary. IN OUT TO IN OUT TO ªª TARGET Track This is the track that is edited. In the case of OPEN, CUT, SILENCE and CLEAN OUT, the source track itself is the target track. The options depend on what you have set for the SOURCE track. When the SOURCE track is ALL (all tracks) , the TARGET track must also be ALL (all tracks).
8 - Track Editing MOVE/PASTE OPEN (Insert Silence) IN OUT TO IN OUT IN OUT TO IN OUT The audio data between the IN and OUT points on the source track is removed and pasted on the target track from the TO point. This operation leaves a silence between the IN and OUT points on the source track. This operation overwrites recorded data on the target track. Therefore, the length of the target track is not changed. The following parameters are used in this operation.
8 - Track Editing SILENCE (Erase Part) IN OUT IN OUT CLEAN OUT (delete track) Use this function to completely erase the selected track. This function cuts (deletes) the audio data between the IN and OUT points on the selected track. This deletes the entire track, so the IN, OUT and TO points have no effect. This creates silence between the IN and OUT points, as though there had been no recording. The following parameter is used in this operation.
9 - Using Internal Effects This chapter explains the dynamic effects, guitar effects, and send effects that can be applied to individual mic and guitar inputs. You can select one of four types of dynamic effects (COMPRESSOR, NOISE SUPPRESSOR, DE-ESSER, EXCITER) for use with all inputs (A to H). Guitar effects This unit has multi-effects for guitar. You can insert and use these effects on tracks. The library settings of guitar and send effects can be used for other songs.
