7-Quick Operations
AUTO LEVEL :
When the input sound is too small or too large,
the recording volume is increased or decreased,
respectively, automatically to an appropriate level.
LIMITER :
This prevents distortion of sound due to sudden
excessive input.
For details of the level control function, see “Using
the Level Control Function” on page 20.
When Monitor Mix is enabled, the input level can
be adjusted in a simple way using the . or /
button.
Press the . or / button to open the input level
setting pull-up window. Adjust the input level while
checking the input sound. (See “Adjusting the input
level” on page 20.)
NOTE
• This is a simple adjustment function for Monitor Mix.
During this adjustment, the level meters are hidden
and the input level for recording cannot be adjusted
accurately. Accurate adjustments should be made when
in recording standby. (See See “Adjusting the input level”
on page 20.)
• The input level cannot be changed if the level control
function is set to AUTO LEVEL .
Closing the Quick menu screen
Press the QUICK button to close the Quick menu
screen.
Deleting the selected file (Quick
Delete)
The currently selected le can be deleted without using
the BROWSE screen.
1 To delete a file, select it using the . or /
button or the BROWSE screen.
2 Open the Quick menu screen by pressing the
QUICK button while the Home screen is open
when stopped.
3 Use the + or − button to select DELETE .
4 Press the 7 button. A confirmation screen for
file deletion appears.
Press the 7 button to delete the file, or press
the ¤ (HOME) [8] button to cancel the
deletion.
