5 – FILE LIST
Rebuilding folders
Rebuilding should be performed whenever an inconsistency
occurs between the unit's management files and the audio files,
for example, after a file has been deleted via FTP.
1. Press the FILE LIST key on the front of the unit to open
the AES31 file selection, take selection or playlist selection
screen. Then, press the FILE LIST key again to open the
folder selection screen.
2. Select the folder that you want to rebuild.
Touch the MULTI SELECT button to enable the selection of
multiple folders.
3. Touch the MENU button on the folder selection screen to
open the pull-up menu.

4. Touch the REBUILD button in the pull-up menu.
5. Touch the OK button or press the DATA dial when a confir-
mation pop-up message appears.
During rebuilding, a progress status pop-up appears.
When rebuilding completes, the pop-up disappears.
NOTE
You can also rebuild a folder from that folder’s take
selection screen.
Exporting a folder
You can export from the selected medium to an unselected
medium (two media are necessary). When you export a folder,
the same directory structure is created at the export destination.
1. Press the FILE LIST key on the front of the unit to open
the AES31 file selection, take selection or playlist selection
screen. Then, press the FILE LIST key again to open the
folder selection screen.
2. Select the folder that you want to export.
Touch the MULTI SELECT button to enable the selection of
multiple folders.
3. Touch the MENU button on the folder selection screen to
open the pull-up menu.

4. Touch the EXPORT button in the pull-up menu.
5. Touch the OK button or press the DATA dial when a confir-
mation pop-up message appears.
During export, a progress status pop-up appears.
When export completes, the pop-up disappears.
CAUTION
If a folder with the same name already exists on the desti-
nation media, a confirmation message will appear in a
pop-up window.
Touch the OK button or the DATA dial to export the folder
after deleting the folder on the export destination.
Deleting a folder
1. Press the FILE LIST key on the front of the unit to open
the AES31 file selection, take selection or playlist selection
screen. Then, press the FILE LIST key again to open the
folder selection screen.
