10 – Internal settings
o The mirror paired media is not present
(If the current media is not present, mirror recording
is also impossible.1)
o The CF card not set as the current media is not
compatible. (PIO mode)
(If the current media is not compatible, mirror
recording is also impossible.1)
o The non-current media is not in a compatible format.
(Not FAT16 or FAT32.) (If the format of the current
media is not compatible, mirror recording is also
impossible.1)
o The CF card is not compatible with UDMA.
o One or both of the media has not been formatted by
this unit.
(The media has not been formatted with the cluster
size recommended for this unit.)
o The recording sampling frequency is set to 88.2, 96,
176.4 or 192 kHz.
If any of these conditions apply, mirror recording is
not possible and recording will occur only on the
current media.
NOTE
•
When set to Mirror, the same folder as the current folder of
the current media will be created on the other media.
If you start recording with Mirror set, takes with the same
name will be recorded in the matching folders on both
media.
•
When set to Mirror, no recording will be possible if
the current media cannot be recorded to, even if the
non-current media has space available.
•
In Mirror recording mode, if the time counter display mode
is TOTAL REMAIN, the recordable time for the media with
less remaining space is shown.
If either media runs out of space during mirror recording,
the recordable time for the media that continues recording
will be shown.

Various messages
o If the REC Mode setting is changed to Mirror when Mirror
is unavailable, the following messages are shown.
1 One of the media cannot be recorded to
2 The CF card is not compatible with UDMA
3 One of the media has not been formatted by this unit
o If recording starts with Mirror unavailable, the following
messages are shown.
1 If the reason that Mirror is unavailable is anything other
than 2 and 3 below
2 The CF card is not compatible with UDMA
3 The CF card has not been formatted on this unit
