Do not open the dock or receiver. There are no user-servicable
parts inside. Do not allow moisture to enter either unit. Moisture will
corrode the inner electronics. To clean the dock or receiver, wipe
gently with a dry cloth.
troUBLeShootInG
The following troubleshooting guide takes you through some of the
more common problems associated with installation and/or operation.

No sound • Make sure the iRoam receiver’s AC adapter is fully inserted into
the wall outlet and the power cord from the AC adapter is rmly
connected to the receiver’s power input jack.
• Check that your iPod is playing music as it normally should—plug in
your headphones to make sure.
• Conrm that the receiver LED is solid blue. If the receiver LED is
ashing blue, the receiver is not tuned to the dock. Press the link key
on the dock and on the receiver’s back panel to link them.
• Check that your stereos volume is turned up.
• Make sure your iPod’s volume is set high enough for the dock to
detect.
Interrupted
sound
• Move closer to the receiver with the dock and iPod in your hand.
Sending the signal through certain materials, such as glass, tile,
and metal, can decrease the effective transmitting distance of the
system.
LEDs fail to
light up
• Make sure the dock is properly connected to your iPod. Then, move
closer to the receiver and see if the dock and receiver link. If they
don’t, press the link key on both simultaneously.
Sound stops
automatically
• Check the LED the dock. If it’s blinking, the receiver has lost the
dock’s signal. Move closer to the receiver. If you don’t see the LED,
you need to charge your iPod using the USB power adapter.
