Troubleshooting
If you encounter a problem with your Smartphone,
review the list below to try and find a solution. If still
having problems, please contact Technical Support or
your dealer.
Problem Solution
y The screen of my
Smartphone is
blank.
Your battery may be run
down. Charge the battery
immediately.
y During incoming
calls or when
alarms should
occur, my
Smartphone does
not make any
sound or vibration.
• Select Start>Settings>
Phone or Sounds to check
the settings.
• Select Settings from the
Start menu>Calendar>
Menu>Options>see if
Set Reminders is
activated.
y A “battery low”
warning screen
pops up.
Plug the AC adapter into
your Smartphone to charge
it.
y Viewing my
incoming
messages.
y Select Start>
Messaging>Select
either Text messages,
Outlook E-Mail, or MMS.
y Scroll down and select
the message notification
area on the Home screen,
or select the Message
soft key.
y Can’t create or
paste files because
of no storage space
available.
Select Start>Settings>
About to view your memory
usage and free space.
Delete any unnecessary
files such as old E-mail,
image files, or large video
files.
y An image or video
file can’t be open.
The file type may not be
supported. Supported
image/video file formats are
listed in section 8.5.
ActiveSync Problems
y ActiveSync
operation cannot be
performed or
connected.
• Make sure the USB cable
is connected securely.
• Make sure you have
installed the ActiveSync
on the Companion CD
• Make sure the settings are
correct in File menu>
Connection Settings...
