wish. Usually, you will have “the track” go to the
front-of-house mixer and “the click” to a stage/
monitor mix (or the drummer). If you’re listening
to Backing Tracks over your headphones, you’ll
hear hear the split tracks as described here, with
the click” on one side and “the track” in the
other.

Talk Trim parameter
Use the Talk Trim parameter to adjust the volume
of your lead voice when “Talk/Bypass” mode is
engaged. It’s not uncommon for performers to
want a little bit more or less volume through the
PA when effects are bypassed.
Setting the Talk Trim parameter to OFF allows
you to mute the microphone during TALK/TUN-
ER mode. When used in combination with press-
ing/holding the Preset UP/DN buttons to enter
TALK/TUNER (which mutes the guitar), you can
effectively mute both guitar and vocal output
from VoiceLive3.
This can be used as a “break mode”, if you’re
away from the stage. Aux signals still pass to the
outputs – so you can play “80’s TV Theme Trib-
ute Band Volume 1” while you have a beer.
