With the Columns standing and cross tubes in
position, install the Safety Ladders, Pass the
Ladders through the Column openings and drop
down through the Slide Block guide slots on the
Cross Tube until the Ladders come to rest on
the Base Plates, if bolting, DO NOT BOLT
Columns down at this times. Repeat steps for all
four column ladder locks.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Position a nut on the thread rod
as shown PRIOR to installing the
column top caps
This nut will secure the ladder
and prevent it from rising
upwards while the lift is being
operation

3. With an assistant raise each column and crossbeam as shown. USE CAUTION when raising to not bend or
damage posts. RAISE LEVEL WITH ASSISTANT.
