Before using for the first time
Before using for the first time, the Cafissimo
POCKET must be cleaned and rinsed through
with hot water. To do so, take the Cafissimo
POCKET apart as illustrated in the section
“At a glance (features)”.
Pull off the drinking cup. 1.
Unscrew the capsule holder from the pump2.
section by turning it clockwise.
Pull the capsule compartment out of the3.
capsule holder.
Unscrew the water tank from the pump4.
section by turning it anticlockwise.
Clean all parts in warm water with a little5.
washing-up liquid. The silicone sleeve on
the drinking cup can be removed. Then
thoroughly dry all parts. None of the parts
are dishwasher-safe.
Reassemble the Cafissimo POCKET in the6.
reverse order.
Now proceed as described in the section7.
“Brewing coffee”, however, do not insert
a capsule. Simply skip steps 2 to 4.
Pour away the water that was pumped into8.
the cup.
Now the device is ready for use.
