1.3 Home screen
1.3.1 Widget bar
Widgets are convenient shortcuts for quick access from the Home
screen.
You can customize the widget bar by selecting "Settings/Phone
settings/Widget bar".
1.3.2 Change wallpaper
You canselect a folder and choose one image as yourwallpaper by
selecting"Options/Use as/Wallpaper".
Charging the battery
Connectthebatterychargertoyourphoneandoutletrespectively.
To reduce power consumption and energy waste, when the
batteryisfullycharged,disconnectyourchargerfromtheplug;
switch off Bluetooth or background-runningapplications when
notinuse;reducethebacklighttime,etc.
2.2 Power on your phone
Holddownthe keyuntilthetelephonepowerson.
2.3 Power off your phone
Holddownthe keyfromtheHomescreen.

Making a call ................
Dialthedesirednumberthenpressthesendkeytoplacethecall.The
numberyouenteredcanbesavedtoContactsbyselecting"Options\
Save to contacts".Ifyoumakeamistake,youmaypressRightsoftkey
todeletetheincorrectdigits.

Messages ................
4.1 Access
Youmayaccessthismenuusingthefollowingoptions:
• Accessfromthemainmenubyselecting"Messages".
• Select fromwidgetbar,andthenenterthesub-menuyou
require.
4.2 Write message
You can select "Messages\Create SMS" from the main menu or
accessfromwidget to write text/multimedia message. Oneor
more recipients can be added from contact list. Press "Contacts"
through keytomulti-selectrecipientsfromContacts.
AnSMSwillbeconvertedtoMMSautomaticallywhenimages,videos,
audio, slides or attachments are inserted; or the message contains
morethan8pagesoftext.
An SMSmessage of more than a certain number of
characters (the number of characters depends on
your language) will be charged as several SMS. An
MMSmessagecontainingphotosand/orsoundsmay
also be billed as more than one message. Specific
letters(accent)willincreasethesizeoftheSMS,this
maycausemultipleSMStobesenttoyourrecipient.
