From the main screen, select the icon menu , press and select the function of your choice in order
to customise your telephone.

14.1.1 Ringtones
Available functions
To modify the sound settings, select the different options using the key:
Select a melody in the list using the key then confirm by pressing .
You can also select in this list the random melody function called “Surprising melody” (see page
71).
Mode (normal, discreet, vibrator...).
Adjust the volume using the key.
Select the type of key beep.
Select a melody for a new incoming message.
Select a melody for an appointment.
Select a melody for an alarm.
Select the type of network beep.

13.6 Infrared (IrDA)
Access this feature by selecting “Application” from the main menu, then “Infrared”.
Your phone’s infrared feature allows you to exchange contacts, calendar data, images, videos, melodies via
an infrared link with an other mobile or a PC. The infrared port is located on the top of your phone.
Sending data
To send data, select the contact file, then select the “Data transfer” option. It is not necessary to activate
the infrared feature before sending.
Receiving data
To receive data, you must activate the infrared feature. A message will advise you of the arrival of data; you
then save the data by pressing the key or reject it using the key.
Once you have selected the option, the icon appears on your screen. Infrared will be deactivated
automatically after a short while

. The connection will cut off if you have an incoming call. You can receive
up to three calling cards (V.Card) or appointments (V.Cal) at the same time.
13.7 Alarms list
Access this feature by selecting “Application” from the main menu, then “Alarms list”.
You can view all the alarms that you have set (Appointment, To Do, Alarm clock). The icon will appear
on your main screen if the alarm clock or the timer have been set, or if the alarm is set for the current day
or the following day.
