10.9 Tone composer
Access this feature by selecting “Tools” from the main menu, then “Tone composer”.
10.9.1 Compose
Select “Compose” then use the keypad as shown below:
Go to the options
Delete a note
Key 1 to 7: basic notes of an octave (C, D, E, F, G, A, B)
Change the length of a note or a pause
Change octave
Add a pause
Add a sharp
10.9.2 Record
Select “Record” to record a sound of your own.
In both cases, you can use them as a melody. If you want to listen to a sound (composed or recorded), select
the desired one and press the “Options” softkey.

10.7 Infrared (IrDA)
Access this feature by selecting “Tools” from the main menu, then “Infrared”.
Your phone’s infrared feature allows you to exchange contacts, diary data, images, videos, melodies via an
infrared link with an other mobile or a PC. The infrared port is located on the top of your telephone.
Sending data
To send data, select the directory file, then select the “Data transfer” option. It is not necessary to activate
the infrared feature before sending.
Receiving data
To receive data, you must activate the infrared feature. A message will advise you of the arrival of data; you
then save the data by pressing the key or reject it using the key.
Once you have selected the option, the icon appears on your screen. Infrared will be deactivated
automatically after a short while

. The connection will cut off if you have an incoming call. You can receive
up to three calling cards (V.Card) or appointments (V.Cal) at the same time.
10.8 Alarms list
Access this feature by selecting “Tools” from the main menu, then “Alarms list”.
You can view all the alarms that you have set. The icon will appear on your main screen if the alarm
clock or the timer have been set, or if the alarm is set for the current day or the following day.
