TREK Max Battery Replacement Instructions

Caution: Disconnect the AC power adapter and place the power switch in the OFF

position before beginning the replacement.

1. Remove the 7 screws on the bottom side of the unit base using a T-6 TORX

driver.

2. Using a small flat bladed screwdriver or tweezers, lift the base cover away from

the A34 body.

3. With the cover removed, lift the foam piece from its position. 4. Unplug the battery and replace with a battery pack from TDK Life on Record. A screwdriver can be used to carefully press the connector of the new battery into the socket. 5. Route the wires into place and replace the foam strip. 6. Place the base cover in position and reinstall the 7 screws. This completes the battery replacement procedure. Proper disposal of the old battery is essential from an environmental and safety point of view.

Following the replacement, the new battery should be fully charged prior to usage. Place the battery switch on the right side of the TREK Max to the OFF position. Connect the AC power adapter charging cable to the DC In connector. Allow to charge until the red charging LED on the top of the unit in the Power button goes OFF.
