Q4000 Series Network Chassis featuring Quareo™ Technology allow
network personnel to view, manage and audit the physical layer. This
means, for the first time, the physical layer is now subject to the same
compliance policy as higher layers of the network. With 70% of network
outages attributed to errors made in the physical layer, TE introduces a
new category of products. Simply put, Quareo enables Managed Connectivity using connection point identification (CPID).
The Quareo Q4000 Series chassis are designed to accommodate the Q3000 blades for an unmanaged solution or the
Q4000 blades for a managed solution utilizing CPID.

Quareo forms one of the two hardware base technologies within TE’s Managed Connectivity Solution.
The Fiber solution comprises of fiber network Chassis (1, 2 and 4U), which accommodate 0.5U blades (2, 4 and8
respectively). Fiber blades support MPO-MPO and MPO-LC configurations. The portfolio is supported by a range of
managed trunks and patch cords.
