Jeder, der mit Arbeiten an dem Werkzeug beauftragt ist, muss die Betriebsanleitung kennen und beachten. Die Firma Tyco Electronics lehnt jede Haftung für Schaden ab, der durch Nichtbeachten von Hinweisen an dem Werkzeug oder in der Betriebsanleitung entsteht.

Wenn anzunehmen ist, dass sich das Werkzeug nicht mehr gefahrlos betreiben lässt, ist es außer Betrieb zu setzen und gegen unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten zu sichern. 2-744014-4 5 411-18509 Rev.B Bedienen 2 1 Abbildung 1 Das Termi-Point Servicewerkzeug (Abb.1) setzt sich aus einem Basiswerkzeug (1) und einem Abisoliereinsatz/Mandrel (2) zusammen. Es gibt ein Servicewerkzeug für Termi-Point Standard mit der TE P/N 655498-1 und ein Servicewerkzeug für Termi-Point Maxi mit der TE P/N 654632-1. Bei dem auf den Fotos gezeigten Werkzeug handelt es sich um ein Servicewerkzeug für Termi-Point Standard. Beide Typen sind baugleich.

2-744014-4 411-18509 Rev.B Abbildung 2 Die Leitung mit dem passenden Leitungsquerschnitt (nicht abisoliert) wird zwischen Clipführung und Mandrel eingelegt. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Leitung bis zum Anschlag (Abb.4) eingelegt ist. Abbildung 3 Das Werkzeug wird mit dem Griff bis zum Anschlag zusammengeschoben (Abb.5). Bei diesem Vorgang wird der Clip auf das Mandrel geschoben und die Leitung abisoliert.
2-744014-4 411-18509 Rev.B Abbildung 4 Das Werkzeug wird auf die Stiftleiste gesetzt. Der Clip wird mittels des hinteren Werkzeuggriffs mit der Leitung auf den Pfosten geschoben (Abb.6). Es ist darauf zu achten, dass das Werkzeug bis zum Anschlag gedrückt wird. Abbildung 5 Eventuelle Isolierungsreste (Abb.7) sind zu entfernen. Der Arbeitszyklus ist beendet.

Each person entrusted with the job of operating the tool must be familiar with the operating manual and strictly observe the instructions therein. Tyco Electronics decline to accept any liability for damages that are incurred due to the fact that the instructions on the tool or in the operating manual have been disregarded.

If you suspect that the tool cannot be operated safely, it must be switched off and secured against anyone accidentally switching it on. The tool may only be used for the purpose specified in the operating manual. The manufacturers and suppliers will not be liable for any damages which may result due to the tool being used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended.

There is a service tool for Termi-Point standard with the TE P/N 655498-1 and a service tool for Termi-Point Maxi with the TE P/N 654632-1. The tool shown in the photos is a service tool for Termi-Point standard. Both types are identically constructed. 1 Figure 2 In order to change the Mandrel, open the metal clip Pos.1 (Fig.2).

Figure 3 Production steps: Put the Mandrel for the desired AWG range into the tool. Put the appropriate clip on the clip guidance.

Make sure that the conductor is inserted to the stop (Fig.4). Figure 5 Push the tool handle together to the stop (Fig.5). During this procedure the clip is pushed onto the Mandrel and the conductor is stripped.
