Umweltschutz Environmental Protection

„Wir fühlen uns der Schonung unserer Umwelt und dem
sparsamen Umgang mit den natürlichen Ressourcen ver-
pflichtet. Dies gilt für unsere Fertigungsprozesse ebenso wie
für unsere Produkte. Bereits bei der Entwicklung unserer
Produkte sind die möglichen Folgelasten für unsere Umwelt
zu bedenken. Es ist unser Bestreben, Umweltbelastungen -
auch über die geltenden Vorschriften hinaus - zu vermeiden
oder auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren.“
„We feel it is our obligation to protect the environment and to
use its natural resources sparingly. This applies to our pro-
duction processes as well as to our products. The potential
subsequent burdens on our environment are to be taken into
account, right from the time we start developing our prod-
ucts. It is our aim to avoid environmental pollution or reduce
it to a minimum, above and beyond the prevailing regula-
tions.“
Dies bedeutet u. a. folgendes:
1. Wir arbeiten kontinuierlich daran, über die Einhaltung der
Umweltschutzvorschriften hinaus Umweltauswirkungen
sowie den Energie- und Ressourcenverbrauch zu verrin-
gern.
Unsere Fertigungen werden wir 1995 nach der Verord-
nung (EWG) 1836/93 des Rates der Europäischen Union
zertifizieren lassen.
2. Umweltauswirkungen werden bereits auf möglichst frü-
her Stufe der Produkt- und Verfahrensplanung beurteilt
und berücksichtigt.
Wir unterziehen unsere Produkte einer Umweltverträg-
lichkeitsprüfung nach der SIEMENS-Norm 36350.
3. Wir stellen durch geeignetes Umweltmanagement sicher,
daß unsere Umweltpolitik wirkungsvoll umgesetzt wird.
Die hierzu notwendigen technischen und organisatori-
schen Verfahren werden regelmäßig überprüft und fort-
laufend weiterentwickelt.
Unser Umweltmanagement-System entspricht den Anfor-
derungen der Verordnung (EWG) 1836/93 des Rates der
Europäischen Union.
4. Umweltbewußtes Handeln gehört zu den Aufgaben eines
jeden Mitarbeiters.
Um das Verantwortungsbewußtsein für die Umwelt auf
allen Ebenen auszubauen und zu fördern, ist der
Umweltschutz in unserem Führungssystem verankert.
This means the following, among other things:
1. In additon to observing the environmental-protection reg-
ulations, we are continuously working on decreasing
environmental impacts and energy and resource con-
sumption.
We will have our production facilities certified in 1995
according to the (EC) ordinance 1836/93 of the Council
of the European Union.
2. Environmental impact are assessed and taken into
account at the earliest possible stage of product and
process planning.
We subject our products to a test for environmental
friendliness according to the SIEMENS standard 36350.
3. Through suitable environmental management we make
sure that our environmental policy is put into practice
effectively. The technical and organizational processes
necessary for this are checked regularly and continue to
be further developed.
Our environmental-management system conforms to the
requirements of (EC) ordinance no. 1836/93 of the Coun-
cil of the European Union.
4. Environmentally conscious behavior is part of the work of
every single staff member.
Environmental protection is firmly anchored in our man-
agement system, in order to expand and further the
sense of responsibility for the environment at all levels.
