Names and functions of parts (remote control)
o When the main unit and the remote control both have
buttons with the same functions, this manual explains how to
use one of the buttons. The other corresponding button can
be used in the same manner.
o Only buttons that can be used with this unit are explained.
a STANDBY/ON button
Press to put the unit into standby mode or turn it on.
b Input selection buttons
Use to select the playback source.
o The CD and NET buttons are not used with this unit.
c FILTER button
Use to change the filter setting.
This changes the filter according to the input (PCM or DSD)
(page 16).
d MUTE button
Press this button to temporarily mute the sound (page 16).
e METER button
Press to turn level meter operation on and off (page 16).
f DIMMER button
Use to change the brightness of the level meters and input
source indicators (page 16).
g VOLUME (+/−) buttons
Use these buttons to adjust the volume.
Pressing these buttons will turn the VOLUME knob on the main
unit.
