Discs Discs that can be played by this unit CDs that bear the “COMPACT disc DIGITAL AUDIO” logo. < 12cm (4.7") or 8cm (3.15") discs < Linear PCM digital audio Audio CDs are divided into tracks. CD-R and CD-RW discs that have been correctly recorded in the audio CD format (CD-DA) and finalized. This unit can play these types of discs without an adapter. It cannot play any other type of disc.
MP3 and WMA < This unit can play audio files that are on external USB flash drives.* USB flash drives must be formatted as FAT 16 or FAT 32, but not NTFS. * The USB port on this unit only supports USB flash drives (also known as “thumb drives” and “jump drives”). It does not support standard USB hard drives. Using an iPod/iPhone This unit has two modes. In Direct Mode, the iPod/iPhone menu is shown on the iPod/iPhone screen. Basic operation A How to turn the unit on or put it in standby Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn the unit on or put it in standby mode. C Listening through headphones When using headphones, first lower the volume before inserting the headphones plug into the PHONES jack. Then, use the headphones LEVEL knob to adjust the volume. STANDBY/ON indicator ENGLISH The power indicator lights blue when the power is on. The power indicator lights orange when the unit is in standby.
Listening to a CD 1 Press the CD/USB button to select “CD”. 2 Press the Open/close button (L). 4 Press the Open/close button (L) to close the tray. < Be careful not to pinch your finger. < It takes a few seconds for the unit to load a disc. No buttons will work during loading. Wait until the total number of tracks/files and the total play time of the disc are displayed. Audio CD The total number of tracks and total play time of the disc are displayed.
Listening to files on a USB flash drive 5 Press the Play button (y) to start playback. You can play MP3/WMA files by connecting USB flash drive. 1 Press the CD/USB button to select “USB”. “Not connected” will be displayed if no USB f lash drive is connected. Press the MENU button to go back to the previous menu. This button is equivalent to the MENU button on your iPod/iPhone. During playback, press the Skip/search buttons (.m/ ,/) repeatedly until the desired track/file is found. The selected track/file will be played from the beginning. Programmed playback (1) CD USB Up to 32 tracks/files can be programmed in the desired order. 1 Press the PROGRAM button while in the stop mode. For example, to select track/file number 25, press “2” first then “5”. To select numbers less than 10, press “0” and then the number. As an example, to select number 5, press “0” then “5”. (Optionally, you may press just the number “5” and wait for a few seconds.) 3 Within 10 seconds, press the PROGRAM button.
Programmed playback (2) CD USB Checking the programmed order You can also use the numeric buttons. 3 Press the PROGRAM button. In stop mode, press the PROGRAM button repeatedly. The track/file number and program number will be shown on the display. CD USB Changing or adding a track/file to the program 1 In stop mode, press the PROGRAM button repeatedly until the program number for which you want to change the track/file appears on the display. The program is overwritten.
Shuffle playback CD USB Clearing the program 1 In the stop mode, press the PROGRAM button. CD USB When the SHUFFLE button is pressed, the tracks/files on the disc or USB flash drive will be played randomly. When CD is selected 2 Hold down the CLEAR button for more than 4 seconds.
Repeat playback CD USB iPod CD Repeating a designated section (A-B repeat mode) 1 Press the PLAY (G) button to start playback. 2 Set the point at which playback should start (point A) by pressing the A-B button. Time CD Display (1) CD USB During playback, press the TIME button repeatedly to change the information on the display. During playback of WMA/MP3 files, press the DISPLAY button to scroll the information on the display.
Display (2) iPod Changing the display mode You can select the iPod/iPhone screen or CD-H750 display to show the menu. Before recording You can convert audio on a CD into MP3 format files and record them on a USB flash drive. When using an MP3/WMA disc, the ID3 tags will also be copied to the USB flash drive. CAUTION < Do not disconnect the USB flash drive during recording. Do not disconnect the power cord during recording. It may cause damage to the products.
Setting the Recoding Mode You can set the bit rate, speed and number of tracks (one or all) when recording. 1 Press the CD/USB button repeatedly to select “CD”. Bit rate You can set the bit rate of MP3 files for recording. CD/Stop REC SET: MP3 64K Each time the Skip/search button (,/) pressed, the bit rate is changed as follows: 64k 128k 192k Recording speed You can set the recording speed to ×1 or ×2. ENGLISH 2 Hold down the RECORD button more than 3 seconds.
Recording to a USB flash drive 1 Set the number of songs to be recorded to “1 song” or “CD 6 Press the RECORD button. ALL”. (See page 25) 2 Connect an external USB flash drive to the USB port of CD-H750. 3 Press the CD/USB button repeatedly to select “CD”. Depending on the selected setting, the selected song will be recorded or recording starts from the beginning of the first song on the CD. Recording will stop automatically when playback of the single song or of the final song on the CD has finished.
Deleting a file from a USB flash drive You can delete a file on the external USB flash drive. Restoring factory settings If the unit is not working properly, restoring the factory settings might restore it to proper operation. 1 In the stop mode, use the FOLDER buttons (¥/˙) to select a folder. 1 While in standby mode, hold down the Pause button (J) and STANDBY/ON button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. 2 Press the ENTER button.
Troubleshooting In case of trouble with the unit, please take the time to look through this chart and see if you can solve the problem yourself before you call your dealer or TEAC service center. General No power e Check the connection to the AC power source. Check and make sure the AC source is not a switched outlet and if it is, that the button is turned on. CD-R et CD-RW correctement enregistrés au format CD audio (CD-DA) et finalisés. Cette unité peut lire les types de disque suivants sans adaptateur. Elle ne peut lire aucun autre type de disque.

Écoute de fichiers sur une clé USB 5 Appuyez sur la touche lecture (y) pour lancer la lecture. Vous pouvez reproduire des fichiers MP3/WMA en branchant une clé USB. 1 Appuyez sur la touche CD/USB pour sélectionner «USB». «Not connected» s’affichera si aucune clé USB n’est branchée. Lecture générale 2 CD USB iPod Pour passer directement au fichier/piste suivant ou précédent Pendant la lecture, appuyez répétitivement sur les touches de saut/recherche (.m/,/ ) jusqu’à ce que le fichier/piste désiré soit trouvé. La piste ou le fichier sélectionné est reproduit à partir de son début. Sur la télécommande, utilisez les touches de saut SKIP (.//). À l’arrêt ou en pause, appuyez répétitivement sur les touches de saut/recherche (.m/,/) jusqu’à ce que vous trouviez le fichier/piste souhaité.
Lecture programmée CD USB 32 fichiers/pistes peuvent être programmés dans l’ordre souhaité. 1 Appuyez à l’arrêt sur la touche PROGRAM. Lecture programmée 2 CD USB Vous pouvez aussi utiliser les touches numériques. Pour vérifier l’ordre programmé 3 Appuyez sur la touche PROGRAM. À l’arrêt, appuyez répétitivement sur la touche PROGRAM. Le numéro de fichier/piste et le numéro d’ordre dans le programme s’affichent.
Lecture aléatoire CD USB Pour effacer le programme 1 À l’arrêt, appuyez sur la touche PROGRAM. CD USB Quand vous appuyez sur la touche SHUFFLE, les fichiers/pistes du disque ou de la clé USB sont lus aléatoirement. Quand CD est sélectionné 2 Maintenez enfoncée la touche CLEAR plus de 4 secondes.
Lecture en boucle CD USB iPod CD Pour lire en boucle une section définie (mode de lecture en boucle A-B) 1 Appuyez sur la touche de lecture (G) pour lancer la lecture. 2 Désignez le point duquel la lecture en boucle doit commencer (point A) en appuyant sur la touche A-B.
TIME CD USB Affichage 1 CD Pendant la lecture, appuyez répétitivement sur la touche TIME pour changer les informations affichées. CD audio, fichier MP3/WMA L’affichage change comme suit : numéro de la piste en cours et temps écoulé sur cette piste CD/Play T003 00:42 USB Durant la lecture de fichiers WMA/MP3, appuyez sur la touche DISPLAY pour faire défiler les informations à l’écran.
Affichage 2 iPod Changement du mode d’affichage Vous pouvez choisir l’écran de l’iPod/iPhone ou celui du CD-H750 pour afficher le menu. Avant l’enregistrement Vous pouvez convertir l’audio d’un CD en fichiers de format MP3 et les enregistrer sur une clé USB. Si vous utilisez un disque MP3/WMA, les balises ID3 seront aussi copiées sur la clé USB. ATTENTION < Ne débranchez pas la clé USB durant l’enregistrement. Ne débranchez pas le cordon d’alimentation durant l’enregistrement.
Réglage du mode d’enregistrement Vous pouvez régler le débit binaire et la vitesse d’enregistrement, et sélectionner le nombre de morceaux enregistrés (1 ou tous). Débit binaire Vous pouvez régler le débit binaire des fichiers MP3 pour l’enregistrement. 1 Appuyez répétitivement sur la touche CD/USB pour sélectionner «CD».
Enregistrement sur clé USB 1 Réglez le nombre de morceaux enregistrés sur «1 song» ou sur «CD ALL». (Voir page 51) 6 Appuyez sur la touche RECORD. 2 Branchez la clé USB externe au port USB du CD-H750 . Selon le réglage choisi, le morceau sélectionné sera enregistré ou l’enregistrement démarrera au début du premier morceau du CD. L’enregistrement s’arrêtera automatiquement une fois terminée la lecture de cet unique morceau ou du dernier morceau du CD.
Suppression d’un fichier sur clé USB Vous pouvez supprimer un fichier sur la clé USB. 1 En mode d’arrêt, appuyez sur les touches FOLDER (¥/˙) pour sélectionner un dossier. Rappel des réglages d’usine Si l’unité ne fonctionne pas correctement, restaurer les réglages d’usine peut permettre de rétablir un bon fonctionnement. 1 En mode de veille (standby), maintenez simultanément pressées les touches Pause (J) et STANDBY/ON durant plus de 3 secondes. 2 Appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
