Removing the player from the PC safely For Windows2000/XP 1. Left tap the “ ” icon at the right hand corner of the taskbar. 2. Tap the pop-up mini-window with message of “Safely Remove the USB Mass Storage Device – Drive (X:, Y:)”. 3. When you are prompted to remove the device, pull out the player. Caution: Fatal error may occur in the PC or the player if you remove the player without completing above procedures. Charging the battery The device has a rechargeable built-in lithium-polymer battery.

3 Navigation key center button z The Navigation key is used to move around the menus (up / down / left / right). z The center button is used to select items. 4 Ear phone connector z To connect ear phones to the player 5 Volume Keys z Volume can be increased or decreased (10 levels) using the volume keys on the right side of the player. 6 Mini USB connector z To connect to a compatible PC 7 Sub-menu key z Used to bring up a sub-menu list within the main menu content.
Power On/Off z Push and hold the power switch toward the left (power sign) to turn on the player. After the blue LED is lit you can release the power switch. z Do the same to turn off the player. Main Interface After the player is switched on the main menu is activated. The first menu offered is DVB-T. Select a menu with the Navigation key and press the center key to call the desired menu. In the following all menus are introduced in detail.

Manual for Converter program Converter program is to compress certain movie files such as AVI, MEPG, MP4, WMV… as well into a special format for this player so as to replay those video files in this player. Requirements PC system requirements z Pentium3 / Windows2000 / XP / Vista or latest version z DIRECTX 9.0 / WMV 9.0 plus must be installed in your PC. z Integrated Codec must be installed in your PC.
Install Converter program 1. Put included program CD in the CD Rom Drive of your PC. 2. Enter the “converter” folder. 3. Install the program by double-click on the setup file (Next >/Next >/Install/Finish).
Conversion 1. Run the program “My Video Converter”. 2. Click "Add File" and select the input file. The file name will not be changed except for the extension (.AVI). 3. Click on "Set Path" if you like to specify a new target folder. Click "Add File", you can select other files. 4. Click "Start Encoding" to convert all the files.
5. After finishing the conversion you see the message: 6. Click "OK". To leave the converter program you have to click on 7. The successfully converted AVI video file can be played. Firmware upgrade 1. Please, keep up with new firmware released on our website at www.teac.de. 2. Download an updated firmware file from the TEAC website and unzip the file if the file format is zip file. 3. Turn on the player and connect it to the USB port of your computer and then a removable disk will appear.
Digital Rights Management File (DRM9) Protection This player supports DRM9 file protection (WMA), to play DRM9 protected files: 1. Download songs protected by DRM9 from relevant websites to your PC or notebook. 2. Open the downloaded files using Windows© Media Player. Follow the instructions from Windows© Media Player to play back the files. 3. Connect the player to PC or notebook by USB cable. 4. Copy the DRM9 protected songs to the player using Windows© Media Player.
Trouble Shooting The Player does not power on. Check whether the batteries are exhausted. (Recharging needed) The buttons are not working Check whether the hold key is locked.
