Complete all other connections before turning the
unit on.
o Carefully read the manuals of the devices that you are connecting
and follow their instructions when making connections.
o Do not bundle connecting cables with power cords. Doing so
could cause noise.
o Connect all plugs completely.
Synchronizing external devices with
power operations of this unit
(trigger function)
The power of a connected preamp or another device that supports
trigger functions can be synchronized with the power operations of
this unit.
Use commercially-available mono mini plug cables for connections.
ATTENTION
To use the trigger function, set this unit’s STANDBY/ON switch to ON.
12V TRIGGER connectors
OUT
When this unit is turned on, it outputs 12V.
By connecting this unit’s OUT connector to a device that supports
trigger input (e.g., a power amplifier or subwoofer), the power supply
of that device can be synchronized with the power operations of this
unit.
IN
Connect this to the trigger output connector of a preamp or other
device.
This will make the power operation of that preamp or other device
control this unit, putting it in standby and turning it on.
