1. Locate the Brake Shaft (77) and press the .078" x 3/8" Spirol Pin
(78) into the small hole away from the grooved end of the Brake Shaft
so that it extends evenly from both sides of the Shaft.
2. Press the Compound Gear Bushing (181) all the way into the
end of the Compund Gear (79). Slide the Compound Gear, with the
Bushing in place, over the Brake Shaft. Align the groove in the Gear
with the Pin and push the Gear over the Pin.
3. Secure the Compound Gear and Bushing to the Shaft by snap-
ping a 3/16" C-clip (76) into the groove in middle of the Brake Shaft.

1. Insert two 3/16" x 3/8" sealed Bearings (80) into the two top
bearing seats of the right Gearbox Half (82).
*NOTE: If any of the supplied Gearbox Bearings only have one
Teflon™ seal(colored, woven looking) in it, position the seal to the
outside of the Gearbox half. This will help shield the Bearing from
dirt and other contaminates.
2. Insert a 1/2" x 3/4" Bearing (81) into the lower Bearing seat of
the right Gearbox Half.
