with TEC Skill Set Latex-Mortar Additive. If
VOC 0 g/L
Mud Bed Mix
added performance is desired in other areas, TEC® Skill Set™
Latex-Mortar Additive can also be used in place of water. See ANSI
A108.1 for industry standard for details on mortar bed installations.
For direct-bond applications, the concrete surface should have a
profile of CSP #3 to #5 or greater. The surface must be primed with
a slurry bond coat mixture (see “Mixing” section for details). Wood-
frame structures must be designed to handle the loads of floating
mortar beds and tile assemblies. If the suitability of the structure is
unclear, consult a structural engineer or design consultant. Not for
use as a final wear layer. For covering large areas, please contact
technical support at 1-800-832-9023, for recommendations.
