3. DESCRIPTION
TEC® Skill Set™ Ready to Use Grout is a premium premixed
grout that delivers highly durable, stain resistant grout joints.
Unlike other premixed grouts, this unique, patented
technology provides very high durability for residential use in
intermittently wet as well as dry areas. It can also be used to
grout over existing premixed or cementitious grout
installations. TEC® Skill Set™ Ready to Use Grout is
formulated with very fine particles of sand and may be used
in grout joints as small as 1/16 inch. (Please see limitations
regarding surfaces that might be sensitive to scratching).

Storage
Store indoors in a cool, dry location. Keep away from
excessive heat. Freeze/thaw stable in -10ºF. If frozen, slowly
bring material back to room temperature and mix per
instructions.

Ready to Use Grout
Shelf Life
Maximum of 18 months from date of manufacture in unopened
package. Product good for 6 months after opening as long as bucket
is re-sealed carefully and stored in a cool, dry, interior location and
used within shelf life. Covering with plastic wrap directly on top of
product prior to sealing container will help preserve freshness.
Limitations
Do not use with polished marble, metal tiles, most glass tiles*,or
glass block. Do not use with travertine if the filling of the surface pits
with grout is not desired. Certain tile surfaces may be stained when
grouted with colored grout. Follow tile manufacturer
recommendations or test. Use on grout joints from 1/16” up to 1/2"
wide. Do not grout over existing epoxy grout installations. Maintain
temperature range of 60º-100ºF during use and drying. Freeze-thaw
stable. If frozen, thaw completely and remix before using. Not for
use in swimming pools or exterior applications. Do not add water. Do
not seal grout.
*If sanded grout is appropriate with your glass tile, we recommend the use of
TEC® Skill Set™ Ready to Use grout.
Cautions
IMPORTANT: Sanding releases dust harmful to lungs. Use
appropriate respiratory protection to avoid breathing dust. FIRST
AID MEASURES: Contains calcium carbonate and crystalline silica.
In all cases, seek medical attention if symptoms develop or persist.
EYES: Flush with water for 20 minutes. SKIN: Wash with soap and
water. IF VAPORS INHALED: Remove to fresh air. IF
SWALLOWED: Do not induce vomiting. For additional information,
