Installation Instructions for

Pendant Fixtures

GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION

This product is suitable for indoor dry locations only.

These fixtures are intended to be installed

utilizing compliant junction boxes.NEC

This product can be dimmed with a standard incandescent

dimmer.

From back of the canopy tighten the strain relief to the

cord grip.

From front of the canopy remove the cap from cord grip.

NOTE: Refer to the instructions provided with the

pendant fixture to install the fixture shade (if needed)

before proceeding with these steps.

Feed end of the pendant cord through the cap, cord grip,

and strain relief into the canopy.

Adjust the fixture height (from bottom of the fixture shade

to top of the canopy) by moving the cord up or down.

When desired height is achieved, tighten the cap.

Tighten the strain relief slot head screw.

the applicable installation code by a person familiar

with the construction and operation of the product

and the hazards involved.

Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

Shorten the Pendant (cloth covered cord) 1C 1A 1A 2A 8 CANOPY 7 STRAIN RELIEF 1 7 For power connection, leave at least 6" of the cord exposed in the back of the canopy. 8 Cut off the excess cord with a sharp cutter. 1 From back of the canopy tighten the strain relief to the cord grip. 2B 1A 2B 4 1D 1A SLOT HEAD SCREW 9 CORD 4" NOTE: Refer to the instructions provided with the 9 10 pendant fixture to install the fixture shade (if needed) before proceeding with these steps.

Install the Fixture 1A 2C 1A 3A 6 1 FIXTURE BARE WIRE (GREEN IN SVT CORD) 3 2 FIXTURE WIRE WITHOUT WHITE STRIP (BLACK IN SVT CORD) 5 5 For power connection, leave at least 6" of the cord exposed in the back of the canopy. 6 Cut off the excess cord with a sharp cutter. FIXTURE WIRE WITH WHITE STRIP (WHITE IN SVT CORD) 1 Connect the fixture bare uninsulated wire (green in SVT cord) to the ground in accordance with local electrical codes.
