In a single unit, it combines a DVD, Audio CD,VCD, S-VCD and CD-R player, a TV tuner and a 80-gigabyte hard disc. Depending on the setting you choose, you’ll have close to 120 hours for your video recordings, JPEG images or MP3 files.With its full range of connectors, your DMR connects to most analog and digital audio/video devices on the market.

The automatic channel search has assigned numbers to the channels is a predefined order.These numbers may not be the numbers you would have chosen. During the initial installation, if you carried out the automatic installation described on page 6, you do not need to carry out the steps shown on 8 and 9. 1. All you have to do is press PAUSE. • The broadcast is frozen.You have 45 to 90 minutes to record the broadcast according to the setting selected (page 49). After this period the recording continues but the first few minutes will be deleted for the benefit of the following minutes.

For this you have the choice of manual programming or Naviclick programming, explained on page 26. Recording with the timer 1. All the files in the memory card will be recorded on the hard disc of your DMR.You can then rename them and / or delete them (To manage your recordings, see page 43). See page 16 for connecting a compatible card reader via the front USB socket of your DMR. 1.

DVDs are high density optical discs on which high quality picture and audio are recorded by means of digital signals. Region code number - Your DMR responds to the regional management information recorded on DVDs.The regional code of your DMR is 2. Before buying a DVD, make sure that it bears the correct logo. Some banners provide access to disc playback functions (for DVDs, CDs,VCDs, etc.) while others give you information on the channels and related functions. In TELEVISION mode (Operating principle) 1. Turn on your TV set and your DMR. 2. In the Main Menu of your DMR, (Channels line selected) press OK.

If a disc being played back offers different camera angles the icon in the banner will show the number of the angle on the screen.With the disc in playback, press ANGLE on the remote control unit and choose the angle using the same key or the and keys.

However beyond 400,000 pixels there is no perceptible improvement in the quality of pictures displayed on your TV screen. MP3 is a compressed audio file format that stocks a large quantity of music (files) on a disc. Files can be grouped in folders (albums) in the same way as files and folders in your computer.

The menu also indicates the time left on the hard disc for other recordings. The menu that appears displays a list of the last six recordings.

In the menu, choose your preferred language for dialogues and subtitles. If it is available on the DVD you will be playing, it will be selected automatically.The default language is the one which is selected in the main menu.

In Europe ratings limits are as yet uncommon on DVD discs on sale. 1.

Select a function with the keys, confirm with OK, adjust and confirm with the keys and OK.

Other problems Re-initialisation of your DMR • In the event of random or permanent dysfunction and before taking your DMR for aftersales servicing you can try to re-initialise it. Open the DMR tray and make sure there is no disc in it. Close the tray again.
