This unit can record discs that conform to the
CD-DA format.
This unit may not be able to record some discs due
to the condition of the recording.
Before recording, finalize the disc on the device it
was recorded on.
CDs that cannot be used
CDs with irregular shapes, such as heart shapes
(Use of such CDs may cause malfunction.)
CDs that are not guaranteed to
operate with this unit
Discs with illegally copied data and those that do
not conform to industry standards
DualDiscs (Discs that record data such as music
and images on both sides)
Disc formats supported by this unit
This unit’s lens
Use the lens cleaner (not supplied) to clean the
unit’s lens.
Clean discs
Wipe with a damp cloth and then wipe dry with a
dry cloth.
Disc handling precautions
Handle discs by the edges to avoid inadvertent
scratches or fingerprints on the disc.
Do not attach labels or stickers to discs.
Do not use disc cleaning sprays, benzine,
thinner, static electricity prevention liquids or any
other solvent.
Do not use the following discs:
j Discs with exposed adhesive from removed stickers
or labels (rented discs, etc.).
j Discs that are badly warped or cracked.
j Irregularly shaped discs, such as heart shapes.
This unit does not guarantee connection with all
USB devices.
This unit does not support USB device charging.
This unit supports USB memory devices formatted
in FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS.
This unit supports an HDD formatted in FAT32 and
NTFS. If the HDD is not recognized, the power to
the HDD may not be supplied. Supply power from
an external source.
This unit supports USB 3.0 Super Speed.
USB memory may not be recognized by this unit
when connected using the following:
ja USB hub
ja USB extension cable
It is not possible to use USB card reader/writers.
Not all files on the USB device may be read if there
are some files not supported.

If you turn off this unit, disconnect the USB cable,
or expose the USB device to vibrations or impacts
(by moving or rotating it, for example) or to static
electricity while the USB device is in operation
(during importing, for example), the imported
music may be lost or malfunctions may result.
Please also read the operating instructions for the
USB device.
