VEHICLE OPERATION SECURING THE PLAYER & REMOTE MONITOR Pass a securing strap through the slots in the rear (A). Place the strap around a vehicle front seat headrest. HOME OPERATION PLAYER PLACEMENT REMOTE MONITOR PLACEMENT Carefully swing out the stand to its maximum position. Place the player as shown on a stable surface where it cannot get knocked off or pulled over by the connecting cables. Although you can connect the remote monitor as shown on the previous page you shoukl only use the monitor if it is firmly attached to a suitable table or floor stand.

PLAYER PREPARATION HANDSET PREPARATION INSERTING AND REMOVING DISCS IN A VEHICLE Remove the safety strip from the battery compartment. The handset is now ready for use Switch the player off. Press the retaining catch at the top of the player. Hold the player with one hand and hinge out the screen with the other. DO NOT use force. Hold the disc with the label facing outwards. Locate the disc over the centre spindle and press gently. Slowly shut the screen which will click into place.
GETTING STARTED PLAYING A DVD - BASIC OPERATION • Connect the supplied power adapter to the player. Plug the adaptor into the mains outlet or 12VDC supply as appropriate and switch on the power. • Open the player as described on Page 8 depending on your location. The maximum angle you can open the player is 90°. Do not try to open it any further. NOTE: These operation instructions refer to handset operation.

Using the Number Keys • To enter a number from 1 to 9, (say 7): Press NUM; Press 07 • To enter 10 to 99, (say 77): Press 77 and so on. • Press NUM to leave Number Mode when you are finished. THE SEARCH FUNCTION During Play: You can select a title, chapter, or time on the disc with a combination Search of the number and navigation keys. TROUBLESHOOTING AFTER USING YOUR PLAYER If your DVD player is not working properly use this guide before contacting Tesco.
