A typical rate might be 27000, indicating that 27000 symbols per second are being transmitted. Use the numeric key pad to enter the appropriate symbol rate. FEC-Rate The FEC function adjusts error correction to the requirements of the selected transponder. Use the OK key to enter the appropriate FEC. This can be 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 6/7 or 7/8.

This facilitates use of the receiver, as it means you have all important functions in one remote control, and will have to revert to the remote control of your TV set only very rarely. Whenever the receiver is switched on, the volume setting used last will be set again. > Use the keys Volume + to increase the sound volume, and Volume - to reduce the volume.
