2.10 Reference Layouts
The reference layout shown in figure 3-4 below, shows the position of jumper control points
for the MCU board.

JP1: Front Panel Power Switch bypass jumper. Insert a shunt to power unit with no front panel
attached. Default: no shunt installed.
JP3: Serial Communications Protocol Select Jumper:
1-3 & 2-4: RS-485 - default
3-5 & 4-6: RS-232
all other combinations are invalid.
P3: factory use only, no shunt installed
P4: factory use only, no shunt installed
P5: Restricted Access Lock Select.
