Special Operation

TO VISUALLY SEARCH FORWARD (CUE)

Press the

/ button once in the PLAYBACK mode.

The tape will advance rapidly with picture, and the

CUE indicator will blink on the display panel.

When pressed once more, the tape speed will

increase.

TO VISUALLY SEARCH REVERSE (REVIEW)

Press the

. button once in the PLAYBACK mode.

The tape will rewind rapidly with picture, and the

REV indicator will blink on the display panel.

When pressed once more, the tape speed will

increase.

TO WATCH SLOW PICTURE

Press the SLOW button during playback, and then

press the SLOW(+) or SLOW(-) button.

You can watch the desired frame in detail.

The SLOW indicator appears on the display panel.

TO WATCH STILL PICTURE

Press the

J button during playback.

< If this button is pressed continuously, the picture wil

advance frame by frame. The STILL indicator

appears on the display panel.

< Adjust the vertical locking for the best picture

condition by using traking(

5 )and tracking (b )

buttons.

Notes:

< Press the PLAY button to resume PLAYBACK mode.

< Noise bars may appear in the picture in the SLOW

mode. To reduce the noise bars, press the

TRACKING

b/5or AUTO buttons on the remote

control.

< No sound will be heard in the SEARCH, SLOW or

STILL mode.

< The SLOW mode will be released automatically after

5 minutes.

< Squeezed picture could be seen while switching

from the SEARCH mode to the PLAYBACK mode. This

is NOT a sign of malfunction.

< OSD indication is not displayed on the TV screen in
