Recording TV Programs 2

RECORDING

Press the REC button and recording will start.(The REC

indicator appears)

TO STOP RECORDING TEMPORARILY

< Press the J button to avoid recording unwanted

material. Press the REC button to continue the

recording.

< The pause function will be released after 5 minutes

to prevent damage to the tape or the DVD/VCR,

and then the STOP mode will be automatically

entered.

TO STOP RECORDING

Press the

H(STOP)button (or the H button on the front

of DVD/VCR) to stop recording.

RECORDING ONE PROGRAM WHILE WATCHING

ANOTHER

You can record one program while watching another.

1. Follow Step through of page 58, 59.

2. Set the DVD/VCR to the TV mode by pressing the

TV/VCR button.

3. Select the TV channel you want to watch by using

the channel selector of TV receiver.

Note:

< Since the DVD/VCR has its own TV tuner, it is not

necessary to turn on the TV in order to make a

recording. Turning on the TV merely allows

confirmation of proper channel settings on your

DVD/VCR.

< You can choose the DVD/FM/AV1,2 function during

VCR recording.
