Duplicating a Video tape

DVD/VCR TO VCR CONNECTION
If you connect the DVD/VCR to another VCR, you can
duplicate a previously recorded tape.
OPERATION
Load a blank cassette tape with the safety tab
intact into the Recording DVD/VCR.
Load a previously recorded tape into the playback
VCR.
Press the REC button on the recording DVD/VCR,
then press the
J(PAUSE) button.
Press the
t(PLAY) button on the playback VCR,
then press the
J(PAUSE) button.
Press the
t(PLAY) button on the playback VCR and
the REC button on the recording DVD/VCR
simultaneously to begin duplication.
Note:
< When recording from another VCR, you must press
the SELECT (VCR INPUT SELECT) button on the
remote control to select AV1 or AV2 depending
on which input the other VCR is connected to, then,
press the record button as in step 5.
< It is recommended you set the tape speed to the SP
mode on the recording DVD/VCR for best results.
< Unauthorized recording of copyrighted television
programs, films, video tapes and other materials may
infringe on the rights of copyright owners and be
contrary to copyright laws.
< Many pre-recorded tapes contain Macrovision copy
protection and cannot be duplicated properly.
