VISS (VHS Index Search System) 2
INDEX SKIP
INDEX function also permits skipping to locate a
particular section.
By using the numeric buttons, enter the index number of
the program you would like to watch. The VCR deck will
then locate the desired program automatically.
WATCHING BASKETBALL GAME NOW
Index Search(+)
EXAMPLE: To watch special show from basketball game.
< Enter the number 2 and press the t button.
< The VCR will fast forward and play from the beginning
of the special show.
Index Search (-)
EXAMPLE: To watch News from basketball game.
< Enter the number 2 and press the g button.
< The VCR will rewind and play from the beginning of the
news.
Note:
< The index search function will not function on tapes
that where recorded on VCR's without the VHS
Index Search System.
< The index search function will operate on tapes
recorded by VCR's with the VHS index search function.

Clock/Count Display
The counter counts in real time from the point you load
the cassette.
This does not have to be its beginning. The counter does
not count unrecorded parts of the tape.
CLOCK/COUNTER DISPLAY
Each press of the DISPLAY button changes the on-
screen display in the following sequence.
1X : Tape mode, Tape speed, channel
2X : Time and Date
3X : Count
4X : Remain
5X : Remain OSD disappears
To ensure the REMAIN time display is accurate, the
length of the cassette (T120,T160 etc.) currently loaded
must be set. This is done by pressing the MENU button.
