MTS Broadcast / TV stereo system
Select Audio Mode For Playback
While watching TV, press the SOUND button on the
remote.
The current tuner audio status will be displayed on
the screen.
Press the SOUND button repeatedly to select from the
following options:
< stereo - Two - channel MTS stereo sound split into left
and right channels. When a show is not broadcast in
stereo, the sound reverts to mono.
< SAP(Second Audio Program) - An optional audio signal
often used to transmit a second language, news, or
weather broadcasts.
< TV + SAP - Delivers mono sound from the left channel
and a SAP from the right channel.
This is useful if you want to listen to a second
language with headphones while the primary language
is playing through your TV speakers.
< Mono - Monaural (single channel) audio that combines
the left and right audio signals into one channel.

Choose the type of sound track for playback.
Playback the tape
Insert the tape into the VCR deck. The DVD/VCR will
automatically be placed in VCR mode.
Press the
t(PLAY) button on the remote or front panel.
If the tape does not have the Record safety Tab attached,
the tape will begin to play automatically.
Select Audio Mode
< Press the SOUND button repeatedly.
Hi-Fi
w Hi-Fi w Hi-Fi w MONO
STEREO LEFT RIGHT
< Please select "Hi-Fi (STEREO)", "Hi-Fi (LEFT)" or "Hi-Fi
(RIGHT)" to listen to stereo recordings in stereo sound.
Select "MONO" for monaural sound.
