R600A Iso-butane Refrigerant Hydrocarbon refrigerants have excellent refrigerant properties and minimal low global warming potential and no ozone depletion potential. WARNING This appliance contains a small quantity of flammable, non-synthetic R600A refrigerant: Hydrocarbon refrigerants cannot be ‘retrofitted’ to the appliance that has not been designed and approved to use that type of refrigerant. Ensure that the tubing of the refrigerant circuit is not damaged during transportation and installation.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. When disposing of the appliance, do so only at an authorised waste disposal centre. Don’t store inflammable materials such as ether, benzene, LP gas and glue etc in the refrigerator. Please remove all the doors before you dispose your refrigerator and leave the shelves in place to prevent access by children. Do not expose to flame.

TRANSPORTING THE APPLIANCE 1.The appliance must be transported only in a vertical position. The packing must be intact during the transportation. 2. When unpacking and re-packing the appliance, please memorise the position of each accessory of the appliance when unpacking it. When re-packing the appliance for transportation, ensure all accessories are secured before transportation. 3. Do not lift or pull the door during transportation INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS PLACEMENT OF FOOD 1. There should always be some space between items inside for air circulation. 2. Food should be kept in sealed packaging to avoid becoming dry or spoilt. 3. Hot food should be cooled down before placing into the appliance. Otherwise, the interior temperature and power consumption will increase. 4. Reduce opening the door frequently. This will increase the appliance efficiently and reduce power consumption. Do not use any electronic equipment inside the appliance.
DEFROSTING Heavy frost will effect the refrigerating process or internal temperature of the appliance and increase the power consumption. Thus, defrosting is required if the frost is >5mm thick. Defrosting is a manual process. Please follow these steps: 1. Switch off and disconnect the appliance. 2. Remove all food from the vegetabel crisper and food compartment. 3. Remove the shelving. 4. Ensure the drip tray is correctly located under the evaporator coil. 5. Open the door and wait for the ice to defrost.
MAINTENANCE The appliance should be maintained and cleaned frequently. For your safety, pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning. 1.Interior and exterior maintenance Clean the interior of the appliance with clean water and wipe it dry with a piece of dry cloth.
DISCONNECTION OF THE APPLIANCE If a power failure occurs, even in summer, the refrigerator could store food normally for some time. 1, Power failure During a power failure, do not put additional food in the appliance and reduce opening the door frequently. Place several ice cubes into a container if power failure is anticipated beforehand, and place it in the top of the fridge. 2, Power failure during vacation Before departure of short vacation, remove any items that could spoil if a power failure occurs.
REVERSING THE DOOR Follow these steps to reverse the door from the supplied position. Before proceeding, ensure the appliance is unplugged, turned off and empty of all contents. The following tools will be required to reverse the door. NOTE: Tools are not supplied. 10mm socket screwdriver Screws and bolts Philips head screwdriver Bottom hinge Top hinge bracket bracket Adjustable feet Door stop STEP 1. A) Locate the screw holding the top hinge cover in place. Unscrew and remove the top hinge cover.
B) Locate the bolts holding the bottom bracket and unscrew and remove the bottom hinge and door stop. STEP 3. A) Screw the adjstable foot into the right side. B) Fasten the bottom hinge into place on the left side. NOTE: Do not fasten completely until after the door has been correctly positioned. Alow for minor adjstment for best gasket seal. C) Fasten the door stop by screwing into place. D) Place the door onto the bottom hinge. STEP 4. A) Place the top hinge into position on the left side.
TROUBLESHOOTING The following cases are not malfunctions: 1. Moisture may form as condensation on the outside of the appliance during humid conditions. To remove excess moisture, wipe clean. 2. The flow of refrigerant through the pipeline coil could cause gurgling, similar to water boiling. This is the normal function of the appliance. 3. It is normal that the sides of the appliance will get warm as a result of the refrigeration system operation. 4.
SYMPTOM: Heavy frost occurs in the evaporator coil. SUGGESTION: Make sure the door is fully closed. SYMPTOM: Refrigerator temperature is too cold. SUGGESTION: Check the position of the temperature dial. REPAIRS, SERVICE & WARRANTY It is hazardous for anyone installing, removing, altering, repairing, servicing, testing or certifying the gas system of a gas device (i.e. charging, discharging or breaking into the refrigeration system that uses hydrocarbon refrigerants).
