HOW DOES IT WORK? A dehumidifier is not an air conditioner, but rather an appliance that is used to control relative humidity by reducing the moisture in the ambient air. This is done by passing air through the dehumidifier. When the air passes through the cooling elements within the appliance, it causes the excess moisture to condensate and safely drain into the water tank. The dry air is then passed through the condenser to warm slightly before returning it into the ambient air.
