The following is an example of how to transfer a file to, e.g. Windows XP via
HyperTerminal (HyperTerminal is a communications program included as part of
MS Windows):
Step Description
1 Start HyperTerminal (please refer to the operating systems operating
instructions for information regarding how to start HyperTerminal)

Write a name for a the connection,
e.g. "LH85-Connection"
Select an icon for the connection.
Click the OK button.

Select the serial COM port that is
connected to the LH 85.

Alter the properties of the serial
connection as shown here.
5 Select "File" then "Save" to save the connection just created.
