• Accessible surface temperatures can be high
when the appliance is operating.
Never touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
•Always plug the appliance into an earthed
socket.
•This appliance is not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
•Make sure that the electric power supply is
compatible with the power rating and voltage
indicated on the bottom of the appliance.
•If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a special cable or unit available from the
manufacturer or its after-sales service.
•If it is necessary to use an extension lead ensure
that it is of suitable construction and power
rating, with an earth connection.
•Do not attempt to move the appliance when
filled with hot oil.
•This appliance is not a fryer. The fondue pot must
never be used for cooking chips, doughnuts, etc.
•Ensure that the food to be cooked is well drained.
•When using frozen food, ensure that it is properly
defrosted and dried.

from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
