YoumusthaveanRS‐232ComProbe,RS‐422/485ComProbeorCC‐LinkComProbetoinstallthe
NetDecodersoftware.
1. InstallonetheComProbesfollowingtheinstructionsbelow.
2. KeeptheComProbepluggedintothePCandruntheinstaller.
3. Youwillseethefollowingoptions:


installation.
InstallingtheSerialComProbes
TheseinstructionsapplytoFrontline’sRS‐232ComProbeII,RS‐422/485ComProbeandtheCC‐Link
ComProbe.Foryourconvenience,FrontlinehasmadetheDriversrequiredforinstallingthese
ComProbesavailableatmultiplelocations.Youcanfindthemonanyoneoftheselocations:
1. OntheNetDecoderCDyoureceivedfromFrontline

3. At‘C:\ProgramFiles\FrontlineTestSystemII\FrontlineNetDecoder[version]\Drivers\Serial
ComProbes’,ifyoualreadyhaveaversionoftheNetDecodersoftwareinstalledonyourPC.
WhenfirstconnectingtheComProbetoyourPCyouwillbedire ctedtoinstalltherequiredFrontline
interfacedriver.
